UNLEAVENED BREAD RECIPE - COTTAGE CHEESE ROLLS (2)


    COTTAGE CHEESE ROLLS

 

        1 c. butter, softened

        2 c. cottage cheese

        1 c. unbleached flour

        1 c. whole-wheat flour

        ½ t. salt

        Cream butter, then stir in cottage cheese. Add dry ingredients. Chill dough 3 hours in fridge or freezer 1 hour.

        Roll out on a well-floured surface. Cut into 12 wedges and roll up each starting with wide end first. Make into crescent rolls.

        Place on cookie sheet and bake 30-35 min. in a 350* oven.

 

        Toppings:

        Powdered sugar, Cinnamon and sugar, Parmesan and garlic, Marinara and cheese.
