(La Iglesia de Dios)




        1 T. oil or soft butter

        1 t. salt

        1/2 t. honey

        2 c. mashed potatoes or 1 c. instant and 1 c. boiling water


        Mix above ingredients, add about 1 c. flour or enough to make dough stiff enough to shape into a long roll.

        Cut off a small amount and roll thin on a lightly floured surface keeping each cake round.

        Bake slowly on an ungreased moderate hot griddle or heavy frying pan, turning to brown both sides.

        The cakes will blister and brown in spots. Remove from griddle and fold across the middle twice to form a quarter circle
