UNLEAVENED BREAD RECIPE - LEMON BARS |
LEMON BARS
Crust:
1 C. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 C. flour
Mix above ingredients. Take half and put in an 11x7 pan, press into place.
Set other half of ingredients aside. Make filling while crust bakes at 350 until brown.
Filling:
4 eggs
2 C. sugar
6 T. flour
1/2 c. lemon juice (from squeezed lemon)
Mix filling ingredients and pour over crust. Take the flour mixture and add enough flour to make it flaky; sprinkle over the filling.
Bake at 350 until brown or until filling is thickened.
