UNLEAVENED BREAD RECIPE - UNLEAVENED CRULLERS 


    UNLEAVENED CRULLERS

       

        ½ c. milk

        ½ c. all-purpose flour

        ¼ c. butter

        ½ tsp. Vanilla

        1/8 tsp. Salt hot oil

        2 eggs

 

        Place butter and salt in medium pot and melt over medium heat, watch carefully.

        Add flour and milk; stir until it leaves sides of pot and makes a ball.

        Remove from heat. Beat in eggs, one at a time, blending well each time.

        Let cool for 5 min, then drop by teaspoons into 370* oil. Brown, turning once or twice, until done and drain on paper towels.

        Dip in cinnamon sugar mix, if desired. Makes 12 crullers.
